Career and Technology Education students are fortunate to have the experience of major corporations and the leadership of highly qualified teachers available when developing their skills for college and future careers. The Williamsburg County School District's CATE Programs develop the talents and skills of students in classroom settings that are rigorous, progressive and certified to national standards.

Williamsburg County School District's CATE Instructors serve students in various programs. Students receive local, state and national awards and recognition for the outstanding performances they exhibit at competitive events throughout the school term.

Mission

The mission of the Office of Career and Technology Education is to provide leadership and services to schools supporting grade-level, standards-based curricula through the integration of academic and career and technical instruction for students in grades seven through twelve while focusing on the Office's 2020 Vision for Career and Technology Education in South Carolina.

Vision

To provide Williamsburg County students the opportunity to participate in a rigorous and relevant career and technical program that leads to academic achievement and successful employment in a global economic society.
