Welcome to the 2019 – 2020 school year!
It is a privilege to return to HOPE Academy and serve as your principal. I am confident that you have had an enjoyable summer vacation filled with fun and exciting memories to share with your family and friends in the years to come.
The staff and I look forward to welcoming you back to a school year filled with learning and growth. Staff members will be engaging in conversations that will encourage a growth mindset, for themselves and all students. We believe that every person enrolled, and working, here should always be growing and learning. Despite the obstacles that may arise, we must always believe in our ability to rise above the challenge and come out stronger on the other end.
I maintain an open door policy; if you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to drop by or call. I look forward to working with everyone.
The acronym H.O.P.E. stands for Helping Our Pupils Excel, which is what the staff here at H.O.P.E. Academy strive to do. This becomes evident through our mission and vision and beliefs.
Our mission here at HOPE Academy is to provide each student with a structured learning environment that will address the behavioral, emotional and academic need of identified children who have not been successful in a traditional school setting.
It is our vision to develop life-long learners by preparing students with tools that will make them successful in the “real-world”, whether their choice is college or career.
We believe that:
- Students are our first priority. Our goal is to address needs of the whole child: academic, socio-emotional and behavioral.
- Teachers will provide rigorous, standards-driven, high quality education in a safe environment.
- It takes a village to raise a child. Children will perform better when high expectations are set by:
- Community and
- School (Staff and Faculty)
