• WELCOME to Hemingway Elementary SchoolWhere Tiny Tigers Take The LEAD!  It is my pleasure to greet and extend to you an enthusiastic welcome to what we know will be a very exciting year filled with wonderful learning experiences for our students. The faculty and staff at Hemingway Elementary School (HES) join me in saying that we are happy to have you join the Tiny Tiger Family. It is our hope that this will be a successful and productive year for you. We are proud of the partnerships we have established with parents, businesses and community members. Partnerships assist us in building a better school community for our students and in developing future leaders.

During the 2020-2021 school year, we will continue to develop leaders, one child at a time, as we are a Leader in Me school. Knowing that children are the LEADERS of tomorrow, this school-wide system will assist us in transforming the culture and performance of HES. Not only will we continue to incorporate the expectations of being LEADERS who demonstrate The 7 Habits, the faculty, staff and students will also embark upon learning how to develop Wildly Important Goals (WIGs). Working collectively and collaboratively, we will continue to learn and lead by working as a T.E.A.M. (Together Everyone Achieves More).

At HES, we feel that open communication between home and school is an essential component to the success of our educational institution. Parents are instrumental in the important job of educating the children of this community. We welcome your active participation and support during the 2020-2021 school year. Working together, we will be able to reach our collective and individual goals. Together, we will continue to work to prepare our students in becoming college and career ready. Again, welcome to Hemingway Elementary School, Where Tiny Tigers Take The LEAD!
